MEET OUR PROVIDERS

Leah Jones, np-c

Leah Jones is a family nurse practitioner, working independently as a primary care provider through Rely Primary Care and contracted with Redwood Health Partners. She is a part-time instructor and site visitor for the University of CO (CU) nursing program in CO Springs. She’s also a volunteer preceptor for nurse practitioner students at CU.

She wanted to work in the medical field since she was a child because she has family members who are doctors and nurses and always admired their work.

She has been a nurse since 2008 and an advanced practice nurse since 2014. She attended The University of Northern CO for undergrad and CU Anschutz Medical Campus for graduate school. Her past experience includes working at Children’s Hospital CO, Long Term Care and Rehab Consultants, Physician House Calls (now Bloom Healthcare), several home health agencies, and The Little Clinic. Her licenses and certifications include advanced practice nursing licenses and full prescriptive authority in CO, AZ, and ID, AANP and DEA certification, and registered medical examiner for the Dept. Of Transportation.

In her personal life, she is married with three kids. Her oldest child has Down syndrome. Leah is involved in Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome association as a volunteer, and her son participates in the Special Olympics.
